I had way too much fun taping my segment for the 200th episode of The FitCast. I think I made sense, but I’m probably not the best judge of that. Also on the show are Dan John and Alan Aragon. I’m confident they made sense.
I was surprised and honored to be invited by Ryan Lee to join his all-star cast of contributors to his relaunched website. My first post is here.
While those are fun side projects, my main gig is the upcoming launch of The New Rules of Lifting for Abs, the third book in the NROL series and a completely fresh take on training for core strength and stability, body composition, athleticism, and overall conditioning.
The on-sale date is December 30. You can preorder now, of course; it won’t make the book arrive…

A trainer at my gym came up to me the other day, laughing. He’d been listening to The FitCast, and heard the hosts reminiscing about the time Lou Schuler broke the F-bomb barrier when their show was still in its infancy.
It’s not much of a distinction, I’ll admit, but I take ‘em where I can. More important, I exploit them. So I contacted Kevin Larrabee, the FitCast’s creator and host, and volunteered to be a surprise guest on Episode 150, which had been planned as a “best of” episode.
I’m not sure my contribution belongs among the “best of” anything, but it was a lot of fun to record. Click on through and give it a listen.
