August 22, 2005Out!I'm taking a short trip with the family; unless something comes up that I just can't resist blogging, I'll be taking a short break from the action, and will get back to it on Friday. Posted by LouSchuler at 04:56 AM | Comments (0) | TrackBack
August 15, 2005No CommentsIt looks like the comment function is down. I'm not sure yet what the problem is, although I assume it's related to some work being done on this site's platform. The final goal is to cut down on the comment spam without inconveniencing the readers who want to joint in on the conversation. Thanks for your patience.
I apologize for the inconvenience, and I hope you understand I only made the changes to block the damned spambots that bombard every blog they can find. If I believed in an afterlife, I'd hope for a special circle of hell just for people who make money by creating all these problems for the rest of us.
Thanks very much for your patience with the extra hassle. Posted by LouSchuler at 10:54 AM | Comments (2) | TrackBack
July 11, 2005Back in ActionI'm back from Las Vegas, where I attended the National Strength and Conditioning Association annual conference. I didn't take a complete break from the news, but I didn't spend a lot of time reading newspapers or watching TV news, either. So other than that hurricane thingie, what did I miss? June 15, 2005Wednesday testThis is a test of the emergency blogging system. Had this been an actual blog post, you would've been given interesting information with the author's signature humor. This is only a test. Posted by LouSchuler at 06:41 AM | Comments (0) | TrackBack
May 27, 2005Four Days in MayMy niece is getting married in Columbus, Ohio, this weekend, so I'm off for those parts. I'll return to blogging Monday or Tuesday. Have a great holiday! Posted by LouSchuler at 03:38 AM | Comments (4) | TrackBack
May 11, 2005Back in the SaddleMy server has been down for a couple days, which is why I haven't posted anything new since Monday morning. It's back up now, but I have a bunch of piled-up business to take care of before I can post again. Thanks to all who've kept checking in. Posted by LouSchuler at 11:20 AM | Comments (0) | TrackBack
March 14, 2005MPF, Now With RSS!So many people told me to get an RSS feed that I finally did. I still have very little idea of what, exactly, an RSS feed is, or what it does, but now I have one. Posted by LouSchuler at 08:23 AM | Comments (0) | TrackBack
July 30, 2004Up and RunningAfter a few more fits and starts, it looks like the training wheels have come off the weblog, so please check this space regularly for updates. If you have a question or comment, please use lou@louschuler.com for now. I'd thought I was getting email for asklou@louschuler.com, but now realize I haven't been. I'll figure that one out soon. Other features--particularly "Read Lou Schuler's Email"--will have to wait a couple more weeks, but I think you'll enjoy them when they're functional. I'll probably update RLSE multiple times a day with health, fitness, and nutrition advice. Also, I'm hanging around on the message board at JP Fitness, if you want to ask a question or join in a discussion of something exercise-related. Posted by LouSchuler at 01:25 AM

July 22, 2004The Big TestPlease bear with me as I figure out how to operate this software. The fancy design will be back up soon. Once I think I know what I'm doing, I'm going to try to get something new up nearly every day. Posted by LouSchuler at 08:46 AM | Comments (0)
